I cannot thank you, Sarah, and Laura enough for what Life of Purpose has done for Jason*. When we put him on a plane last April, I had no idea of where I was sending him or who I was sending him to, except that Mark* was adamant that this was the place for him. The last few years of Jason’s sobriety and addiction, I came to know Mark as a man I could trust and who cared about my son. So as I had seen a smart, young, handsome man struggle and be near death several times, I felt I had nothing to lose.
I am so very grateful to Life of Purpose for where Jason is today. I now see peace and contentment within him that I hadn’t seen in many years.
My first contact at Life of Purpose was Sarah. She was so wonderful and understanding while working with me to make it possible. My next person of contact was Laura. I cannot say enough about her. I am so impressed with the way she worked with Jason. She went out of her way to keep us informed with his therapy and how he was doing. She worked with him on our family letters about how his addiction had affected us. I know that not all therapist incorporate family letters while working with their clients, but I feel it is a vital part of their recovery. Anytime I called or emailed, she was so receptive and wanted to be on top of things if I had concerns or worries.
Oh and I cannot forget about Lou. He was so very kind each time I had a conversation with him. I worked with him on several occasions when Jason needed to be seen by an outside physician. He was always so positive.
I am so very grateful to Life of Purpose for where Jason is today. I now see peace and contentment within him that I hadn’t seen in many years. He is again the wonderful, caring young man who will go out of his way to help others. I pray he continues to do well and maintains sobriety.
If there is ever a time you have a client who needs to speak to a family member of a former client to find out about Life of Purpose, please do not hesitate to give them my contact information.
