NADCP is the world’s largest conference on substance abuse, mental health and the criminal justice system.   With over 5,000 attendees annually, it’s the only conference that brings together judges, law enforcement officials, treatment providers, Drug Court coordinators, researchers, celebrities, leading authorities in best practices in adult and juvenile substance abuse treatment, Drug Court graduates, probation officers, attorneys, consumer advocates and experts in the Drug Court field.

“What the NADCP experience means to me is that we are truly shifting in a positive direction on how we treat people, reducing stigma and rebuilding lives.  Not only are we working together as professionals to put people back to work but we are giving them a new trajectory in employment and education.”

Adam’s passion for the Drug Court system comes from personal and professional experience.  He graduated from Drug Court in 2006 and has been speaking on a national level, advocating for drug courts and criminal justice reform ever since.  Additionally, Adam has been working in the substance use disorder treatment field since 2007.  In June of 2015, Adam joined the Life of Purpose team as the Executive Director of the Life of Purpose, Tempe, Arizona project.  Life of Purpose, Tempe is currently pacing to open in 2016.

Life of Purpose specializes in the treatment of individuals, age 17 to 29, whose education has been disrupted as a result of substance use.  Life of Purpose, Boca Raton was the first residential treatment center on a college campus in the United States.  For more information on Life of Purpose visit: www.lifeofpurposetreatment.com.
