Life of Purpose in Florida is the first primary care treatment facility to open on a United States college campus. Almost every aspect of our integrative educational/clinical model focuses on combining early recovery with the accomplishment of continuing one’s education. To achieve this vision, it’s important that Life of Purpose clients have access to nearby educational institutions.
In Pennsylvania, we offer all levels of care, including ambulatory opiate only detox, Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient and traditional Outpatient treatment. ur Reality-Based Treatment Model focuses on strengthening life skills and spans all levels of care, detox through traditional outpatient. In this modality, we assess a person’s strengths and weaknesses to help individuals adapt to a successful sober lifestyle. Reality Based Treatment programming includes emotion regulation, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma-informed treatment.
Our first location opened its doors in 2013 in Research Park on the Florida Atlantic University (FAU) campus in Boca Raton, Florida. Florida’s Life of Purpose offers a Primary Residential/Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), an Academically Focused Aftercare ProgramTM, and transitional housing options. Several extended care options are also available.
Our transitional housing program is open to all individuals in recovery. Even those who are not members of the Life of Purpose alumni community can live in our sober dorms. Life in Progress is a gender-specific luxury housing option for male clients conveniently located near FAU, Lynn University, and Palm Beach State College.

In these modaliti,es we assess a person’s strengths and weaknesses to help individuals adapt to a successful sober lifestyle. In addition, we offer an Alternative to Incarceration Program, helping those individuals currently in the criminal justice system. This program provides case management, collaboration with probation and courts, and can offer representation of treatment to help our clients successfully manage the legal system.
Our Fort Washington site, located on Virginia Drive in Upper Dublin, PA offers all levels of care, including ambulatory opiate only detox. This site hosts our admission department where one can receive a thorough biopsychosocial and medical assessment with licensed professionals with placement to any of our treatment locations.
This treatment center located in Bucks County, PA provides all levels of outpatient treatment from Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient and traditional Outpatient treatment. This location is best suited for the individual who needs a more quiet and serene environment where distractions are minimal.
This treatment center, located outside the Philadelphia area on the Mainline, provides all levels of outpatient treatment from Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient and traditional Outpatient treatment. Due to the proximity to the City it is more accessible to people who are working, in school and participating in their surrounding community while engaging in local outpatient treatment.
