We are proud to announce that Chad Koller, MS, CAP, ICADC, has been promoted to executive director of the Life of Purpose Boca Raton facility. The appointment reflects Chad’s record of leadership and results throughout his tenure in the clinical department at Life of Purpose.
“We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Chad Koller to the position of executive director at our flagship facility at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton,” stated Andrew Burki, Founder and CEO of Life of Purpose Treatment. “As Life of Purpose continues to grow in response to the increased need for academically focused substance use disorder treatment, the demand on my time as CEO has progressively forced me to spend more time out of state. One of the things that has always made Life of Purpose special is our original design of small intimate facilities with high levels of engagement and easy access to executive directors. Chad is an easy choice as he has already demonstrated these attributes in his previous positions at Life of Purpose; first, as a case manager and subsequently, as a therapist. As any of the clients or the families who have already worked with him will attest, his total commitment and dedication to helping emerging adults with substance use disorder is unwavering.”
As the Executive Director of Life of Purpose in Florida, Chad will collaborate with the executive leadership team to assist in the development, implementation, and management of company policies. He will also actively participate in establishing and maintaining relationships with other programs. In addition, Chad will facilitate group therapy, support staff in crisis management situations, and monitor the internship program.
“When Andrew Burki brought me over to be a part of the team I was immediately impressed with the program, the facility, and the staff,” said Chad. “Education and recovery are meaningful to me on a personal level and I am grateful to work in a professional environment that holds these same values. I am truly honored to accept the executive director position. I look forward to contributing to the process in which young adults are able to receive high quality, clinically driven substance use treatment while concurrently pursuing their education.”
Chad received his Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Community and Public Health from Middle Tennessee State University, with a minor in psychology. Chad is a Certified Addiction Professional and an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
