We are pleased to announce our 55-bed luxury recovery residence, Life in Progress, has just received the FARR Certification. The Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR) supports providers, such as Life in Progress, in their effort to deliver quality recovery-oriented housing opportunities to persons in recovery who seek to reside in abstinence-based, peer supportive environments.
FARR was founded in 2011 out of the need to evaluate and monitor standards-based recovery support services provided in community-based, residential settings throughout Florida. FARR is the Florida Affiliate of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR). This means Life in Progress complies with national standards to provide emerging adults a recovery-ready environment that meets their housing needs as well as their needs for safety, dignity, and respect.
Life in Progress is our luxury student recovery residence. This gender-specific transitional living community is ideal for the male student making the journey from treatment to student life. It’s also an ideal option for clients discharging from Life of Purpose’s 60-day Primary Residential/Partial Hospitalization Program or any other primary treatment program.
Located within close proximity of Florida Atlantic University, Palm Beach State College and Lynn University, Life in Progress offers a safe, academically supportive and affordable sober housing option that includes a live-in recovery residence manager who provides 24-hour, on-site supervision. Other features include an on-site, full-time academic case manager Monday through Friday as well as several on-site offices where behavioral health technicians can offer immediate, individualized support.
