College Enrollment at Life of Purpose Treatment

College Enrollment at Life of Purpose Treatment

Summer is a critical time for emerging adults as they are transitioning to the next phase of their development. Whether they’ve just graduated from high school or need help re-enrolling in school, Life of Purpose can help with college enrollment! We enroll students in college or high school to pursue or complete their degree while they receive clinical care in a supportive environment. Our treatment model is specifically designed to help clients succeed with their academic goals all while maintaining their sobriety.

As the first primary care treatment center located on a university campus in the country, Life of Purpose provides a framework for success in recovery and purpose in life through specialized, academically focused substance use disorder treatment. Located at Florida Atlantic University and in the University of North Texas, we help emerging adults who are seeking recovery from substance use disorder but do not want their treatment to keep them from pursuing degrees.

The Life of Purpose treatment model is comprised of four levels. Clients are invited to enter our continuum of care at the point that best addresses their individual needs:

The specific length of stay for each level varies depending upon a client’s individual needs and their academic goals. We’ve had clients who are working on graduating high school and others who dropped out of high school and preparing to take their General Educational Development (GED) exam.

We’ve also had clients working on obtaining college admission as well as those already enrolled in undergraduate and graduate level courses. Life of Purpose will meet students wherever they are on their educational spectrum and collaborate with them on college enrollment and help them achieve their academic goals.

Let us do the heavy lifting and take care of the paperwork and the college enrollment process. Contact us today to discuss your options and the level of care to best fit your or your child’s needs.
