LIFE OF PURPOSE
Claire provides training, guidance and supervision to our team of behavioral health technicians. Claire came to Florida from Long Island, NY where she gained experience in the healthcare industry, working with a wide variety of people and families as a certified nursing assistant and home health aide. Claire joined our team in 2016 as a behavioral health technician, and quickly moving to the role of shift lead. In 2018, she took the position of BHT Supervisor. Claire feels passionately about creating an atmosphere of healing and harmony for our clients in a safe and comfortable environment. Claire ensures clients receive structured support on site 24/7 in our recovery residence by our diligent and compassionate behavioral health team.
In her role as Director of Education and Community Outreach, Lissa maintains and develops relationships with professionals, school administrators and faculty, educational consultants, therapeutic boarding schools, community leaders, and families. Lissa entered long-term recovery February 1, 2012, and shortly after, she enrolled at Broward College. She then majored in psychology and minored in health sector management and policy at the University of Miami. Lissa’s career in the field started as a behavioral health technician at an adolescent treatment facility. After learning about the Life of Purpose treatment model, she knew that Life of Purpose was where she was destined to be. Through her own personal experience, Lissa values and appreciates the importance of the enmeshment of recovery and higher-education.
Elizabeth Flores MS
Elizabeth is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Life of Purpose. She provides clinical counseling to clients at all levels of care. Elizabeth is a native Floridian who has worked as a Psychotherapist and Clinical Director in Florida treatment and mental health centers for over 10 years. She received her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Mental Health Counseling from NOVA Southeastern University. Her personal and clinical exposure has provided her with the skills to guide clients to increase their awareness and debunk limiting beliefs that are constructed by their experiences. Elizabeth is passionate about being in service to others. She wants clients to understand and embody the belief that they deserve to live their most fulfilled lives.
Daniel oversees the housing facility and works closely with our behavioral health technicians to maintain a safe and supportive living environment for our clients. Daniel grew up in south Florida and has worked in the substance abuse treatment field since 2014 as a behavioral health technician, admissions coordinator, and case manager. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications studies at Florida Atlantic University. Because of his experience working with clients from detox through recovery residence, Daniel is knowledgeable about the importance of a full continuum of care. This valuable experience allows Daniel to ensure that his staff is providing the best client care throughout all phases of our program.
Lyubomir Chinkov, R.N.
Lyubomir is responsible for providing the medical and psychiatric management of patients in coordination with the attending Psychiatrist or APRN. Born in Bulgaria, Lyubomir moved to Florida in the pursuit of education. Upon graduating magna cum laude with honors from Palm Beach State College, he worked in the ICU and Stepdown unit at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. He also completed clinical rotations at Fair Oaks Pavilion, as well as the Cardiac Care Unit at Delray Beach Medical Center. Inspired by the mission of Life of Purpose Treatment, Lyubomir furthered his education obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. He considers himself a student for life with plans of pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Advanced Nursing Practice in the future.
Deena has worked in the substance abuse and mental health field for the last nine years. She began working with the clients as a Behavioral Health Technician and transitioning into Medical Services where she was responsible for the development and management of the medical component of a substance abuse/mental health facility. Now she works closely with the staff as the Director of HR and Compliance. Deena developed an eagerness to learn all administrative aspects of the field and makes it a point to constantly grow and achieve goals. Her experience in the field has always allowed her to remain appreciative of the journey. Today, one of the most important aspects of her role here is ensuring a safe environment for both clients and staff.
Chris oversees the admissions component at Life of Purpose in Boca Raton Florida. Chris is originally from Ohio and moved to Florida in 2009. He has always had a passion for supporting clients, their families and referents during a family crisis. Chris prides himself in staying connected with families to help relieve some of the anxiety surrounding the treatment process. He provides guidance and information for determining the best treatment options for loved ones. With over 10 years of admissions experience, working with the most reputable substance abuse centers in the country.
Claire Condon, BA CAP ICADC
As the Director of Case Management, Claire oversees all direct care and management of educational objectives for clients. She assists clients with a variety of matters, ranging from legal issues to discharge planning and more, focusing on intensive collaboration with the clinical staff to ensure the best service possible is given to each client.
She has over 14 years of experience in the substance use treatment field and worked as an EMT in both hospital and private practice settings. Claire received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida Atlantic University. She was named a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) and International Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICADC) by the Florida Certification Board. Claire is originally from Westport, Connecticut.
Sarah has worked in the substance use treatment field for the past 9 years and has been with Life of Purpose since 2013. Originally being responsible for overseeing admissions, Sarah has had the pleasure of speaking with and meeting the clients and families who have received services at Life of Purpose, Florida. Sarah’s commitment and interest in the well-being of each of our client’s lives in recovery has recently encouraged her to transition her focus to developing a strong alumni community and program for our Florida location. In addition to this, Sarah is responsible for the operations of financial advocacy and works with families and their insurance providers to support continued services and appropriate treatment plans.
Sarah has a bachelor of fine arts from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and a Master of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. Sarah came to Life of Purpose with 10 years of specialized experience in the recovery field. Sarah is committed to helping people change their lives one day at a time with the use of evidenced based modalities. Sarah helps her clients work toward a happy sober life by sharing the tools needed to overcome trauma, low self esteem, low self worth and mental health issues, to guide them to be present and motivated to remain sober.
Asher has been working in the therapeutic and addiction field since 2005 where he worked as a field instructor at a leading wilderness therapeutic program in North Carolina. After several months of building rapport with the clients and the families, he was asked to be a co-facilitator for the family week program. Asher continued working with young adults in a wilderness setting from 2005-2007 when he accepted a position at a leading residential addiction treatment program in Nashville. In 2010 he became a Certified Arise Interventionist and began helping families get their loved ones into treatment for addiction. From 2010-2017 Asher was apart of helping several hundred clients get into recovery from addiction and mental health. Asher has been asked by several organizations to assist them in their business development and referral relations. Asher’s commitment to being a positive resource for young adults is second to none. In 2009 he created a program called “Clean Break” which is a destination sober spring break for high school and college students to attend annually.
Heather serves as the Director of Clinical Outreach at Life Of Purpose. Heather resides in Wellington, Florida and has worked in the mental health and substance abuse field for over 20 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida Atlantic University in 2005. Heather then went on to work in the non-profit mental health field where she has been happily assisting those in need for over 10 years. She transitioned into the referral relations role in 2012. Being in this role allows her to serve as a knowledgeable resource for Life of Purpose and maintain positive relationships within the community.
Alexis Rossi, LCSW, CAP
Alexis has been working in the treatment field for 10 years. She has been the clinical director for an LGBTQ treatment program, lead therapist at a residential treatment program, and the lead therapist for the treatment of adolescents. Specializing in trauma-informed behavior-based therapies, she believes that the key to success is empowering the individual to be confident in their abilities to maintain healthy changes over time through healthy changes in cognition. Alexis earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology, and received her Master of Arts in Sociology at Florida Atlantic University. After working in the field at psychiatric hospitals, she earned her Master of Social Work from Florida International University. Alexis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Addiction Professional. She is also the proud trainer and handler of Life of Purpose’s very own therapy dog, George the Corgi.
Andrew oversees all of Life of Purpose’s ﬁnancial controls, risk management, and accounting with a critical eye on quality control, consistency and continuous improvement to all areas of the Life of Purpose business platform and corporate growth. He is responsible for the expansion strategy, and development opportunities nationwide. He has undergraduate degrees in ﬁnance, management and philosophy from the University of Dayton. He is a licensed real estate broker and currently completing a CFA. Andrew is also an active member of several local community organizations such as the Delray Chamber of Commerce and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
