We are pleased to announce the newest member of our clinical team, Audra Williams. Audra joins Life of Purpose as clinical director of our Denton, Texas, facility located at the University of North Texas.
As clinical director of Denton Life of Purpose, Audra is responsible for the oversight and development of the clinical program, including the supervision of the clinical staff and advancement of agency policies surrounding standards of care. She also devises strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards for providing exceptional clinical care.
Audra brings ten years of social work experience to Life of Purpose. Her expertise includes child welfare, substance use treatment, mental health, and education. Audra has also served as an intervention specialist where she developed and taught guidance curriculum that addressed substance abuse, mental health, violence, self-harm, and suicide.
She received her Masters of Social Work at Texas A&M University and graduated Cum Laude from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor of Social Work. Audra won the Educator of the Year Award in 2016, presented by the Communities in Schools of North Texas. She also received the Social Work Student of the Year Award in 2006, presented by the National Association of Social Workers.
